Mobility

_______________________________

This area is really about functionality, and focuses on what actions can be implemented to help one move more freely.

Mobility is described as ‘the ability to move in one's environment with ease and without restriction.’  Our focus is on what a person can do on their own to help make that happen.  With that in mind, we discuss specific movement patterns in an effort to identify common areas of restriction or limitations.

Stability

This area is also about functionality, but focuses on what actions can be implemented to help one remain more balanced.

Stability is described as ‘the state of being firmly fixed, or not likely to move or change.’  Our focus is on what a person can do on their own to help make that happen.  With that in mind, we again discuss specific movement patterns in an effort to identify common areas of weakness or instability.
